Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how CogneiAI uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit our website.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use localStorage — a similar browser storage mechanism — to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
2. How We Use Storage
CogneiAI uses minimal storage strictly for functional purposes. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
stmtai_token |
localStorage | Stores your authentication JWT to keep you signed in | 30 days |
stmtai_email |
localStorage | Stores your email for display in the UI | 30 days |
stmtai_subscribed |
localStorage | Caches subscription status to avoid unnecessary API calls | Session |
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:
- Stripe — may set cookies related to payment processing and fraud prevention when you proceed to checkout.
- Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, Google may set authentication cookies on their domain.
We do not have control over third-party cookies. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.
4. Managing Cookies
You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing stmtai_token will sign you out. Most browsers also allow you to block cookies entirely, though this may affect functionality.
5. No Tracking or Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking or analytics cookies. Your browsing behaviour on CogneiAI is not tracked or sold.
6. Contact
