Terms of Service

By using CogneiAI ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

CogneiAI is an AI-powered business operations platform. Depending on your plan, it provides bank-statement conversion and financial analysis, dashboards for your finances, e-commerce and marketing data, an AI business assistant, and team collaboration tools. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity by users you invite to your account.
• You agree not to upload files that contain malware or illegal content, or any data you do not have the right to provide.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.

2. Connected Services & AI

You may connect third-party accounts (such as Shopify, Meta/Facebook & Instagram, or logistics providers). By connecting them, you authorise CogneiAI to access and process data from those services on your behalf to provide the features you request, and you confirm you are permitted to share that data. You can disconnect any integration at any time. AI responses are generated using third-party AI providers and may be imperfect — see Section 4.

3. Plans & Pricing

The Service offers a free tier with limited usage and paid subscription plans — currently Starter ($49/month, up to 3 users) and Pro ($99/month, up to 10 users). Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. We reserve the right to modify plans, features, and pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

Conversion, analytics, and AI features are provided on an "as-is" basis. CogneiAI does not guarantee that converted data, dashboards, or AI-generated insights are complete, accurate, or suitable for financial, legal, tax, or business decisions. Always verify results against your original records, and treat AI output as informational, not professional advice.

5. Intellectual Property & Your Data

You retain ownership of the files and data you upload or connect, and the resulting processed data. By using the Service, you grant CogneiAI a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide and improve the Service for you. We do not claim ownership over your business or financial data.

6. Subscriptions and Cancellations

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain paid access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CogneiAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any errors in converted data, dashboards, or AI analysis, or any business decisions made in reliance on them.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes where appropriate.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
